Near Death Experience - Brief Is The Light

Originally created as a solo instrumental project by Mathieu Bonfardin (drums) during Covid in may 2020, and finally formed as a full band in Nantes (France) in May 2022, Near Death Experience (NDE) plays gothic, melancholic doom metal with clean, lyrical female vocals. With influences as varied as Paradise Lost, Draconian, Katatonia, Moonspell, Metallica, Black Sabbath for the riffs, as well as The Gathering or Nightwish for vocals, NDE explores the dark but intriguing theme of near-death experiences.

This LP 'Brief is the light' contains 10 songs and is a concept album about a woman victim of domestic violence, now in a coma, experiencing near-death experiences.

She remembers her past life and wants to go back to reality, despite all the suffering and pain she endured and the unknown future. So will you press 'play' and travel with her? don't worry, the light will appear at the end of your journey...
